This volume begins a series of compact anthologies from Seren featuring new poetry.  We’ve chosen some of the freshest voices, with an emphasis on those from Wales.  These are mostly young writers yet to publish first collections.

Several, like Zoe Brigley, Kathryn Simmonds and Abi Curtis, have already won the Eric Gregory Award for writers under 30.  Many have been anthologised, published widely in magazines and, in the case of Kathryn Simmons, produced a pamphlet.  This sampler is a wider showcase for the work of these promising new talents.

Featured poets are: Tiffany Atkinson, Zoe Brigley, Abi Curtis, Karen Goodwin, Viki Holmes, Rhiannon Hooson, Huw Jones, Paul Steffan Jones, Markus Lloyd, Kathryn Simmonds, Michael Williams.
